Questions, answered

Everything people usually ask before their first visit. If your question is not here, call us and we will happily talk it through.

Microsuction uses a gentle medical suction device and a microscope to lift wax out of the ear canal under direct vision. It is widely considered the safest method of wax removal because nothing is pushed into the ear and no water is used.

No. Most people describe a slight tickle and a soft crackling sound as the wax lifts away. The whole appointment usually takes 15 to 30 minutes.

It helps but it is not essential. If you can, apply two or three drops of olive oil into each ear twice a day for two to three days before your visit. Softer wax comes away more easily.

You only pay a £20 ear health check fee instead of the full removal price. We will show you the camera view, explain what we found and advise on next steps if something else is causing your symptoms.

We usually have appointments available within a few days, and often the same week. Call us and we will find you the earliest slot.
