Ear Health Check
Not sure if wax is the problem? Our ear health check gives you a full picture of your ear health with no obligation and no upselling.
We examine both ears with a video otoscope and show you everything on screen as we go. If we find wax, we can usually remove it in the same appointment and your check fee is deducted from the removal price.
If we find no wax, you only pay the £20 check fee. If we spot anything that needs medical attention, we will explain what we have seen and point you to the right care.

Questions, answered
Microsuction uses a gentle medical suction device and a microscope to lift wax out of the ear canal under direct vision. It is widely considered the safest method of wax removal because nothing is pushed into the ear and no water is used.
No. Most people describe a slight tickle and a soft crackling sound as the wax lifts away. The whole appointment usually takes 15 to 30 minutes.
It helps but it is not essential. If you can, apply two or three drops of olive oil into each ear twice a day for two to three days before your visit. Softer wax comes away more easily.
You only pay a £20 ear health check fee instead of the full removal price. We will show you the camera view, explain what we found and advise on next steps if something else is causing your symptoms.
